Paying it forward

To make a long story short.. my mother works in construction. Day in and day out she works in noisy, hot and rather irritating conditions (dealing with lousy drivers). She is also the type of gal who loves thrift stores. SO during one of her trips to Value Village she found a rather unusual item for sale. One I have never seen before in a thrift store..... a custom made wheel chair. The next day while working on the job, she see's a one legged man having a hard time trying to get through the gravel with his wheel chair. SO naturally after watching long enough, she went to help him. As she reached him, he got up out of his chair with his one leg, and picked up his chair and through it up on to the curb. He then got up in it and wheeled away...... Can you guess what happened next? She got on the phone and called the thrift store to see if they still had the wheel chair... yes they did. She said "hold it for me, I'm coming to pick it up". The following day she see's the man again. She walks up to him and say's "I have something for you"... She goes to her truck and pulls out the wheel chair and gives it to the man.... being quiet and stunned faced. He swiftly jumps up into the new chair and rides away.

All teary eyed,
